First released in 1993, Omega’s Seamaster Professional Diver 300M has enjoyed a legendary following and is often referred to as the “Omega Bond” or the “Bond Seamaster”, due to its use in the James Bond movie franchise. Today’s Seamaster 300M updates its heritage with Omega’s best innovation and design. This model, sometimes called the “Black-Black” turns the volume way up on the sporting side with a black ceramic case that is 43.5mm in diameter, 14.5mm thick and 51.5mm lug to lug. Naturally, it is water resistant to 300m, has a screw down crown at 3 o’clock, conical Helium release valve at 10 o’clock, and a clean look without a date window. The PVD black skeleton hands and all 12 raised indices are filled with Super Luminova and the domed sapphire crystal has anti-reflective treatment on both sides for amazing readability. To ensure visibility while keeping the stark aesthetic, this watch uses anthracite Super Luminova. The black dial is made of ceramic and features a laser-engraved wave pattern, with a matching ceramic uni-directional bezel with a tone-on-tone diving scale. The black theme is continued on the bezel, both crowns, and case back.
